ENGLEWOOD, New Jersey [July 5, 2024]– It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Daniela Small-Bailey, a cherished member of our school community. Dr. Small-Bailey and her beloved son, Sidanii Bell, tragically lost their lives in a head-on collision near Dullstroom, South Africa, on July 4th.

Small-Bailey was a pastor and had been with the school district for 20 years. She was remembered as a vibrant, larger-than-life personality and a pillar in the community. Englewood resident Dr. Malva Wise-White said that Small-Bailey was an excellent educator and advocate for children who promoted unity within the community.
